Outfit Tips for your Engagement Session

Picking what to wear for your session can be a difficult decision. There isn’t one right answer because every couple is different. If you are needing a little help, read the tips below!

- Wear what's comfortable for you! Never wear something that is outside of your style if it will make you uncomfortable. Your discomfort will show in your photos and I want y'all to feel great during your session.

- Think about the setting when you pick your outfit. You don't want your outfit to blend into the scenery. If we are outside around trees and plants, you don't want to wear lots of green. You don't want to wear a formal dress in a casual shop or restaurant. 

- Coordinate, not match. Being matchy-matchy is so 2010! When choosing outfits, pick a color scheme instead of you both wearing the exact same colors. If you need help deciding what colors go together, send me a message. I am more than happy to help! 

- Be aware of your patterns. Less is more when it comes to patterns. If one of you decides to wear a detailed pattern, have the other wear a simple pattern or solid colors. Some small patterns don't photograph well, so be careful when picking them. You can also add different textures! Try wearing a knit sweat, sheer flowy fabric, or leather.
